Hyjet DV Series

Application
The DV Series are drainage/ discharge pumps for charged liquids with set-back Vortex-type impellers for civil and industrial applications, specifically designed for very heavy use. Available in free-standing or with a guide rail coupling kit.
Strengths
Solid tolerance: handles solids to 45–50 mm without clogging.
Durability: cast‑iron body/impeller, stainless shaft, double seals.
High reliability: IP68/IPX8, 20 m depth, thermal protection courtesy of oil‑bath motor.
Versatility: single or three‑phase models, portable or fixed installations.
Broad capacity range: covering from small DV160 to large DV1000 or DV4 series.
Ease of maintenance: long‑life seals, optional quick‑coupling kits.
Limitations
Lift head: top head limited to about 25 m—less suited where high lifting height is required.
Temperature constraints: maximum fluid temperature of 40 °C—not for hot wastewater or industrial fluids.
Weight & size: cast‑iron construction makes them heavy; may require hoisting or handling equipment.
Power dependency: for large three‑phase units, suitable mains power needed.
Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
Installation options: temporarily lowered into a sump (mobile) or mounted permanently using foot or flange coupling. The optional coupling kit simplifies removal/maintenance.
Cable: standard 10 m H07 RNF power cable; observe bend radius and secure strain relief.
Periodic inspection: check seals, oil level in seal chamber, impeller clearance from wear. Clean filter baskets or strainers regularly.
Lubrication: mechanical seals rely on internal oil chamber—monitor oil integrity after heavy debris exposure.
Motor protection: ensure thermal cut‑out is active and correct capacitor sizing for single‑phase models (35 µF/50 µF).
