The Project
The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne is a large-scale event venue built within a restored industrial warehouse site, offering flexible indoor and outdoor spaces capable of hosting events ranging from small private functions to large gatherings.
As the venue’s popularity grew, the site began experiencing challenges with its sanitary arrangements. While overall guest feedback for the venue remained very positive, the sanitation facilities became the only consistent negative. Taking this feedback on board, The Timber Yard began searching for a reliable long-term solution that would improve the guest experience without impacting the visual appeal of the venue. During this process, Maxijet was approached for a solution.
The Solution
Maxijet worked closely with the venue to design a turnkey sanitary solution tailored to the site’s unique requirements and the demands associated with large events. The system was developed to integrate with the venue’s layout and varying capacity requirements while maintaining the flexibility needed for the wide variety of events hosted on site.
The equipment was delivered on time and within budget, allowing The Timber Yard to quickly address the sanitation concerns that had been affecting their guests. Since installation, the system has supported the venue’s operations effectively and helped maintain the high standard expected from the site.
