The Project
Built-in 1941, the Goldbrough Mort & Co Ltd Woolstore became a prominent fixture along the rail tracks of Tottenham. Although, state-of-the-art when constructed, in later years this section of Tottenham was labelled as an eyesaw of the area. The Maribyrnong council developed a project team to beautify the area. This up-and-coming business park will showcase the transformation of this four-story brick wool store with heritage overlay to an ultra-modern business park that includes warehousing, shops and a food complex for the Tottenham/West Footscray area.
The new business precinct – now known as WEFO Woolstores incorporates 30,000 sqm of space and has been designed with cutting-edge technology and has incorporated beautiful green spaces to compliment the modern architecture and surrounds.
This project is a $120 million project.
