What does it mean if my pump keeps turning on and off?
This typically indicates a leak, with the pump detecting a loss of pressure. Generally, a toilet, which can lead to the pump cycling on and off. We recommend isolating your toilet(s) from the system to check if the pump continues to cycle.
If the pump stops cycling when the toilets are isolated, it confirms a pressure loss or leak in one of the toilets. This issue will need to be resolved by a licensed plumber.
The “no water” light is activated on my pump, what does this mean?
The “no water” light means the pump is failing to register water in the tank, if the tank is completely empty or less than a quarter full this is a normal function and will remain activated until the tank refills.
Why is priming the pump required on an initial installation?
The pump is required to be primed because if the air is not purged from the wet end of the pump it will act as a blockage and cause the pump to overheat as it will not be discharging any water.
Can I bring my pump into your workshop to be looked at?
We do offer inhouse service/repairs by appointment only but cannot guarantee that pump is repairable, generally we will ask for the pump to be dropped off and will aim to look at it in within 5 business days. Sewer pumps are classed as non-repairable.
