Commissioning

Commissioning is the most crucial step in the installation as it involves a series of checks, tests and procedures to ensure our Water Booster, Sewerage & Stormwater pump stations designed for you will function efficiently & as designed. The Maxijet Service team will ensure the system is installed in accordance with our pre-commissioning checklist & our trained technicians will attend the site and assure you that another top-notch system has been installed as specified.

  • Pump and float cables pulled through conduit
  • The pit is clean and clear of debris i.e mud, rocks, rubbish
  • Pumps are lowered into the pit and plumbed in place
  • Pumps are connected to discharge pipework
  • Pump well filled up with clean water for testing on commissioning
  • The control panel is in a fixed position and is at a serviceable height (900mm from the ground)
  • Conduits are mechanically protected between ground level and control panel
  • Cables installed into the control panel – (float cables ready for termination, pump cables must be terminated before our visit by a qualified electrician)
  • Float cables pulled through the base plate ready to be terminated.
  • The pump cables have been terminated.
